Hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose food gradeFood grade hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is a plant-derived cellulose used to the food industry. Its gel temperature is controlled between 58 and 70 degrees and can be widely used in food: pastries, sauces, sweets, Ice cream, seafood and other fields.
Test Items | Specification |
Methoxyl Content (wt%) | 28-30 |
Hydrooxypropoxyl Content (wt%) | 7-12 |
Apparent Viscosity (2% solution, 20°C , mpa.s) | 5-150000 |
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose food grade applications:
1)Emulsifying properties: can reduce interfacial tension and reduce oil droplet accumulation to obtain more emulsion stability;
2)Thickening properties: it provides a higher viscosity than starch which is used at low levels;
3)Reducing processing viscosity: it does't require significant thickening during hot or cold processing to achieve desired performance;
1) in 25KG net weight fiber drums lined with PE bags.
2) in 25KG paper bags
Minimum Order Quantity(MOQ): 100KGS
Mode of Delivery: by sea less container loading and by air.
